MiCa, Crypto-Assets and Exchange of Tax Information – Where is Crypto Going?

The book called "MiCA - Studies on the new European regulation of cryptoassets", published by Almedina, includes a contribution of Tiago Cassiano Neves, Managing Partner of Kore Partners.

The article “MiCa, Crypto-Assets and Exchange of Tax Information – Where is Crypto Going?” delves into the tax aspects and how DAC8 and CARF represent a fundamental change or revolution in crypto-tax reporting and an important step towards the regulation (from tax side) of the ecosystem. Exchange of (tax) information is a transnational event impacting the crypto-assets, as a whole that is bound to reduce fragmentation and set an initial (international) level playing field.

The publication is available at the stores of Almedina and the official presentation took place on 6 December 2023 at Fintech House.
